• Loans to pay Inheritance Tax - As you know, more and more of your clients need to pay Inheritance Tax following the rapid increase in property values which has taken many property owners above the Inheritance Tax threshold.Our Inheritance Tax Loan from Bank of Scotland available through our Professionals' Account enables the efficient payment of Inheritance Tax to allow you to administer a deceased's estate more efficiently. With our Inheritance Tax Loan, the Personal Representatives can borrow up to 40% of the value of the liquid assets of the estate (our arrangement fee is 1% of amount borrowed, with a minimum of £125). There are no early repayment penalties. Cheques provided are made payable to the Inland Revenue (re the deceased) and charged at a variable interest rate.
