Cash Services

Bank of Scotland offers you a choice of four convenient and cost-effective ways of moving money between your business and the Bank. No other bank offers this many options.

1. Direct Cash

• Available with our Direct Business Cheque Account

• We'll give you a supply of cash pay in envelopes

• Put in up to £2,500 in cash and as many cheques as you like

• Hand in the security sealed envelope at any post office

• Pay £6 insurance and handling costs per envelope

• They will be delivered to our clearing house by Royal Mail Special Delivery

• The money will be credited to your account the next working day

• There are no charges for crediting cheques

• You can also send cheques using pre-paid envelopes

2. Business Express

• Available with our Business Current Account

• It is also known as 'White Bag drop-off'

• Count and bag your cash and complete the bank giro slip

• Then visit your nearest branch with Business Express Pay In and put it into one of our secure drop boxes or pay in over the counter

• We'll check the amount and bank it for you. Pay in before 2pm and your account will be credited the same day

• In England and Wales, we offer this service at selected Halifax branches

3. Cash machines

• Available with our Business Current Account and Direct Business Cheque Account

• With a Keycard or Keycard plus you can withdraw up to £500* a day

4. Counter Facilities

• Available with our Business Current Account

• Deposit cash and cheques at any Bank of Scotland and selected Halifax branches

• Withdraw cash

• Find your nearest Bank of Scotland/Halifax branch

* Subject to available funds in your account. Some banks and building societies may charge for this service and may limit the amount you can withdraw at any one time.
