• Policy is paid on death or on the nominee surviving for 30 days after the diagnosis of a critical illness.  Exceptions are any pre-existing medical condition, AIDS or HIV, critical illness which is diagnosed within 3 months of commencement, or which results from drug or alcohol abuse.
