CHAPS is a fast, secure way of transferring funds. You can use CHAPS to make same-day payments*, allowing sterling funds to be transferred to any bank in the UK.

• We guarantee same-day payment if your instruction is received before 2.30pm on a Bank Processing day, i.e Monday to Friday 
• You can fax instructions if you hold a fax indemnity
• If you want, we will tell the beneficiary once the funds reach their account
• CHAPS payments cost £25 each if sent manually, £20 if sent over the telephone or £12 if the payment is initiated by you using our Corporate Internet Banking
