'As soon as possible' / Faster Payments option (up to £10,000) will normally reach the recipients accounts within two hours, if the recipients account is Faster Payments enabled.
'Standard payment' and 'To leave my account on' options.
Payments between Bank of Scotland, Halifax or Lloyds Bank accounts should happen immediately – although some make take up to one business day to reach the recipients account.
Payments up to £25,000 to other banks should take up to one business day (if the recipients account is Faster Payments enabled).
If the recipients account doesn't accept Faster Payments or your payment is over £25,000 then the payment will be sent by BACS and can take up to four business days to reach the recipients account, from the date you choose.
